Dental Hygienist
I earned my bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from USC in 1983 and have been a Registered Dental Hygienist ever since. I began my career in a periodontal office, which gave me a strong foundation in treating gum disease. I’ve been working in this office since 1991 and have loved getting to know my patients, helping them feel comfortable, and seeing the difference good care can make in their health and confidence.
My husband Steve and I love spending time in Yosemite, where we have a second home. Being surrounded by nature is one of our favorite ways to relax and recharge. I also enjoy walking on the beach, gardening, entertaining friends, and working on creative craft projects.

Registered Dental Assistant
I was attracted to dentistry for the opportunity to truly help people create and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. A San Diego native, I graduated from Grossmont College as a Registered Dental Assistant and have more than 30 years of experience working side-by-side with patients. Dr. Polan is passionate and committed to her patients and I am proud to be part of her team. I can't wait to meet you and welcome you to our practice!
In my spare time, I enjoy going to plays, sightseeing, and spending time with family and friends.

Dental Hygienist
I started my career as a dental assistant in 1982. After taking some time off to have a family, I returned to school in 2005 to complete my hygiene degree from Southwestern College. With Polan Family Dental since 2020, I educate patients on the importance of good dental hygiene and help to create beautiful smiles in North County!
I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia and moved here after meeting my husband Larry there. We have been married for 37 years and have three daughters and six grandchildren. We have recently rescued an Australian dog and love taking him for walks. When I’m not cleaning teeth, I’m working at our small vineyard in Vista!

Office Manager
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education and 17 years of experience in lower and upper-level administration in the dental field. Here at Polan Family Dental, I oversee administration and staff pertaining to office procedures. It is truly a joy to be a part of this team. Everyone is professional, knowledgeable, and cares very much about our patients. They are fun and make work a place I want to be!
I have been married for 20 years to my husband Kevin. We have a blended family of six children ranging from ages 21 to 36, as well as two grandsons and a granddaughter. We enjoy spending our time with each other and our family as much as we can.
